  "message": "VMM: removes the VPID\n\nAFAIK, the VPID is only useful if you aren\u0027t using EPT.  Since we\u0027re\nusing the EPT, the VPID code is just a waste.  But I did leave in the\nhelpers, since they may be useful and it\u0027s also a good practice to flush\nthe VPID caches in case a previous user of VMX messed with them.\n",
